Celebrity Family Feud

''Celebrity Family Feud'' is a spin-off of the American game show ''Family Feud''. Similarly to the primetime ''All-Star Specials'' featured during the late 1970s and early 1980s, the episodes feature teams of celebrities playing for charity rather than normal contestants.
The first incarnation of the spin-off was broadcast in 2008 by NBC as part of a block of summer reality series it branded as ''All-American Summer''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://variety.com/2008/scene/news/family-feud-heading-to-primetime-1117982926/ )〕 Instead of the host of the syndicated version at the time, John O'Hurley, the NBC celebrity version was hosted by Al Roker of the ''Today Show''.〔 It was played between five-player teams composed of a celebrity captain and four friends and/or relatives, with a $50,000 top prize to be donated to the charity of the winning team's choice.
On April 9, 2015, ABC announced that it would air a new six-episode run of ''Celebrity Family Feud'' for its summer lineup, which premiered on June 21, 2015. It was hosted by Steve Harvey, the current host of the syndicated version of ''Family Feud''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/06/11/celebrity-family-feud-to-premiere-sunday-june-21-on-abc-with-episode-featuring-Anthony-Anderson-toni-Braxton/416127/ )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://awfulannouncing.com/2015/vernon-davis-is-terrible-at-family-feud-which-it-turns-out-is-also-terrible.html )〕 It marked the first time that any version of ''Family Feud'' has aired on ABC since the end of the original Richard Dawson version in June 1985. Unlike the syndicated ''Feud'', taped at the Atlanta Civic Center, this version was produced at CBS Television City.
==Format==
During the NBC run of ''Celebrity Family Feud'', each episode featured a tournament-like format with three games; the winners of the two semi-final games played a final, with the winner advancing to Fast Money. Due to time constraints, the format was slightly modified from the 2003 format used by the syndicated version, in that the double value round is eliminated, with each match containing two single rounds and a triple round, although the game still played first to 300 points or sudden death. In Fast Money, if one or both members of the team accumulated a total of 200 points or more, the group won $50,000 for their charity. If the playing members did not reach 200 points, $25,000 was still awarded to the group's charity.
The 2015 version did not use a tournament format, and followed the same format as the syndicated version. Two self-contained games were played per-episode, each concluding with Fast Money played for $25,000 to the group's chosen charity. If the playing members did not reach 200 points, $10,000 was still awarded to the group's charity. Families who lost the main game and did not play Fast Money received $5,000 for their charity.
